KIDS’ THE STORY ORCHESTRA: THE PLANETS MUSICAL BOOK (ENGLISH)

This book offers a musical reinterpretation of Gustav Holst's The Planets, combining Kids narrative, illustration, and sound to introduce little ones to classical music.
Throughout the story, two siblings, Helen and Tim, embark on an imaginary journey through the solar system from their rocket-beds. They traverse landscapes such as the peaks of Mars or the asteroid belt, until returning to Earth at dawn. In each scene, pressing a button activates an orchestral fragment of Holst's famous suite, fostering an interactive and sensory experience.
At the end of the book, a brief biography of the composer, accessible musical explanations of each piece, and a glossary of musical terms are included, integrating learning and enjoyment.
Part of The Story Orchestra collection, this work is designed to bring classical music to childhood through illustrated stories and sound fragments that enrich reading.
